This past weekend, I spent Saturday volunteering at Habitat for Humanity’s new Corvallis project. We spent the day finishing up the main floor decking and back filling the foundation to get the house ready for Habitat for Humanity’s Women’s Build this week. The new site is on 5th street and “B” street in Corvallis (near Western blvd.) and will consist of 4 modest, affordable homes built to fit in with the architectural character of the neighborhood. I am excited to be able to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission to provide decent, affordable housing in Benton County. Please consider joining us on a future work day and learning about construction while helping improve your community.

Hi; Is this the same Bruce Osen, whose design was entered in the 1982 Garden Way, “Compact House” design contest? If you are, I’d like to discuss that design with adaptations for a more extreme Canadian environment

      Richard,
Yes, I called Bruce and he remembers working on that book. He said it would be best for you to contact him by email. I will send it to you directly.
Thanks for the interest in our website.
