Sun-filled Kitchen Remodel
Our client's 1970s vintage kitchen was poorly designed. We remodeled it into a contemporary space that fits their entertaining lifestyle. We worked with our in-house designer to model the project in 3D with Google Sketchup, collaborating with the ideas that our client suggested. Our crew of craftsmen and our select group of subcontractors built the project within our client's budget and schedule. They love their new kitchen!
“We love our kitchen!”

project details
Additional Countertop Space
We installed a new, bigger window at the Kitchen sink and ran the granite countertop over the window sill. The granite countertops upgrade this Kitchen with its rich, natural feel and long-lasting durability, and the additional countertop space behind the sink allows for maximum glazing and provides more usable room.
Skylight
The addition of recessed lights allowed us to enhance and highlight the grand skylight and increase the feeling of space and openness in our client's kitchen.
Appliance Garage
We suggested an appliance garage to serve the dual purpose of allowing our clients to maintain access to their kitchen tools while keeping the counter clean and uncluttered.

What our Clients are Saying
“G. Christianson construction made us feel heard and cared for throughout our remodeling process. We had an ADU built in our unfinished basement and there were lots of uneven walls and floors and ducting that had to be worked around plus lots of replumbing both inside and out. They did such a nice job with attention to detail at the top of the list. Their subcontractors were top-notch and on schedule. We never felt stressed out. ”

“We felt our ideas were listened to, incorporated, and enhanced in the final plans. Elizabeth did a nice job adding architectural interest with the arch above the stove and continuing that feature in the new opening connecting the living room to dining space. Eliminating the wall between dining room & kitchen allowed for a much better flow addressing our desire for a more spacious-looking interior without adding additional space. The hot tub cover is a special feature that enhances our ability to use it daily. And creating a space for the washer/dryer in the house instead of the garage was a real win. ”

See the Vibrant & Balanced Home Remodel project“We could not have been happier with our experience working with G. Christianson. Super organized. Professional. Super high quality work. Responsive. Kind and generous. We had one point of discussion that was handled quickly, professionally and with equanimity. Our kitchen remodel has changed our home, not only structurally but how we live here. And that could not have been done without the good folks from G. Christianson.”
