Example of Conduit in ICF Walls

The flexible blue conduit (smurf tube) visible at the top of the ICF blocks extends down inside the wall to junction boxes that are cut into the foam. Wires will be inserted from the top plate down to the junction box to create a switch or outlet. Installing these conduits prior to pouring the concrete eliminates the need to notch the foam and reducing the thermal insulation.
