Light and Bright Basement

The Alpha Phi sorority needed their basement remodeled so the ladies would have a space to study, have meetings, and watch movies. We remodeled the entire space to make it comfortable, light and bright.

“We are repeat customers who demand high quality, high touch and tight timeframes of the large scale remodel projects for our Corvallis sorority. GCCI was also our go-to for the unexpected ... we received exceptional service to get the house livable in just over 2 week's time.”

PROJECT DETAILS

Study area

An inviting and functional study area was created by installing new wiring, upgrading insulation, remediating dry rot, leveling floors, and removing leaky pipes.

New HVAC

The sorority basement remodel provided us with the opportunity to greatly improve the mechanical operations as well as the overall comfort of the sorority including upgrading to the following systems: Lennox Heat Recovery Ventilator that provides fresh filtered air, a Lochinvar high efficiency boiler, along with a Bradford White 98% ultra high efficiency hot water heater. These replaced an antiquated boiler from the 1930's.

What our Clients are Saying

“The client greatly appreciated the clear and detailed estimate and the professionalism shown in it. In addition, the inclusion of a project completion timeline, and one that seems reasonably rapid, was well received by the client. While your proposal was higher than the other bid received, the thoroughness and items mentioned above, provided the client with confidence that there is a reasonable reason for the higher price. The clients are seriously considering your bid as they see a lot of benefits to working with a company of your size, experience, and thoroughness.”

The Architect representing a Homeowners Association, Corvallis

“The major qualities that distinguish G. Christianson are: Meticulousness. They have somehow managed to contract tile installers, plumbers, electricians, painters who share their value of meticulous attention to detail. Reliable and Relatable. They listen to your needs and help you achieve your vision. Innovative and Imaginative. They look for novel ways to solve problems in design and construction. Essentially, they like a challenge and will dare to imagine with you!”

“If you are like the majority of Americans you want to continue living at home in a familiar environment throughout your maturing years. Aging-in-place means living in your home safely, independently and comfortably, regardless of age or ability level.”
